Regardless of how well you are coping with the challenges of being a hospitality worker and have a careful eye on the risks in this line of work, there are proactive steps you can take to maintain good mental health hygiene and even physical health. That is through the process of resilience training. Resilience is your ability to successfully adapt to situations in the face of adverse conditions or put simply how good you are able to “bounce back”. Like many things in our life, resilience is something we can improve in through practice. By actively practicing and improving our resilience, we are able to better cope with unexpected changes, stresses and many of life’s unexpected surprises, helping to keep us happier, healthier, and more satisfied.
